  • What payment methods do you accept?

    Payments can be made by check or by Visa, Mastercard, or AMEX. Credit card processing fees will apply to credit card payments.

  • When will my security deposit be returned?

    Security deposits will be returned within 14 business days from the last day of your lease.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Many of our properties are pet friendly but individual pet policies vary by property.

  • What household items will be provided at my rental?

    All properties are equipped with linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, and basic kitchen equipment including dishes, glasses, utensils, pots & pans.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    All bookings are non-refundable. If, after booking, you wish you cancel your reservation, we will endeavor to re-rent your reservation to someone else, however there is no guarantee we will be able to re-rent the time you had booked. If we are able to secure a new tenant at the same price, we will refund your booking in full. If we are only able to replace a portion of your rent, you will be issued a partial refund in the amount collected, less any applicable commissions, fees, or expenses. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. If you’re concerned about the possibility of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances affecting your trip, we highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance

  • Do I have to pay in full at the time of booking or can I break up the cost into payments?

    All rentals booked within 45 days of your stay must be paid in full at the time of booking. Bookings made well in advance of your stay will have the opportunity to make partial payments over the months leading up to your rental.

  • What other fees should I expect to pay in addition to the rent?

    On top of the rent, there is a cleaning fee, Suffolk County Lodging tax, and a refundable security deposit. Some properties may have additional ancillary fees (such as a pet fee, or a pool or hot tub cleaning fee) but all fees will be clearly outlined in your quote as well as your lease.

  • Will the house be professionally cleaned before I arrive?

    Yes. The property will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival. All beds will be made with fresh linens and all towels will be freshly laundered.

  • What do I do when my rental date arrives? Where do I pick up the key for the house?

    About a week prior to your rental, we will send you an email with directions to the property and instructions for access as well as all other relevant information such as combinations to bikes, wifi password, garbage pickup days, etc.

  • Can I host a wedding or other special event at my rental?

    Weddings and parties of any kind are prohibited without prior express written consent. Please contact us to discuss your plans.

  • Can I rent a home for one night?

    We do not handle single night stays. Most of our properties have a minimum stay of 2 nights and some have a minimum stay of 6 nights.

  • Is there an age minimum to rent a house?

    Yes. This can vary by property but in most cases the leaseholder must be at least 30 years old. Children and teenagers are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • How do I ship groceries and bulk items to Fire Island?

    You can refer to the information on in regards to any shipments to Fire Island. The Fire Island Ferries have also made it very convenient by being able to set up an account and accept credit cards.
